The first thing to do is to choose your container, with basil, you can use any type of container. As long as it has at least one drainage hole. Fill your pot with high-quality potting soil, put in your seed, be careful not to push your seed far too deep into the soil. Basil requires a lot of light to germinate, so place your pot in a place where it will get a lot of sunlight. While watering, be careful not to make it soggy, just enough water to make the soil moist.
